Apprentice of (Not in Middle Kingdom): Never. It had not been invented yet in the Middle when I was elevated.

The long and strange career of Kay of Tre Asterium has taken me to Atlantia for a few years. It is now stranger than ever!
My arts career in a list:
Clothing / Costume is on my scroll. It is a now and forever passion. I have had 2 focuses: 14th C, then 10 years of 16th C. and back to 14th C. When you have 45 years worth of wardrobe you make less clothing after awhile. But I am planning a houpellande here in AS 53.
Cooking: it is on my Willow scroll because I did several feasts. Cooking became my career and I trained to be a chef, led kitchens and managed food service for 39 years all because of the SCA.
Pewter Casting: My dad was doing 18th C, spoons and I made a 14th C one for myself and a couple of gifts.
Embroidery: Some surface stitching in early years and for clothing, but mostly 16th C counted. 16th C samplers as research and collection of patterns is something I have taught.

Strengths: "I could make one of those!"
"I have some material that would work for this project." My career has been diverse.

Weaknesses: My expertise is often shallow. "I have one of those that serves my needs. Lets make something completely different."
"Lets buy all the materials and get started... Oh a SQUIRREL!" This is why now that I am emroidering seriously again I find I have about a years worth of Un Finished Objects, dating back 30 years. No New Classes until at least 50 % of these are complete.
